Terms of service

These terms apply to every purchase made on hoperadesign.com. By placing an order, you accept them. They don't limit your rights as a consumer under EU and Spanish law.

1. Who we are

hoperadesign.com is run by Juan Antonio Fernández Lázaro (self-employed), trading as HOPERA DESIGN®, Carrer de Huelva 100, Local, 08020 Barcelona, Spain — info@hoperadesign.com. Full details are in our Legal Notice.

2. Our products

Our garments and prints reproduce historical artworks in the public domain, reinterpreted by HOPERA DESIGN®. We do our best to show colours and details accurately, but they may vary slightly depending on your screen. Product availability is limited and can change without notice.

3. How an order works

  1. You choose your products, add them to the cart and complete checkout.
  2. You receive an order confirmation email: this is when the contract is concluded.
  3. We prepare your order in 2–4 working days and send you a shipping email with tracking.

If a product turns out to be unavailable after you ordered, we'll let you know and refund you in full straight away. We may refuse or cancel orders in case of suspected fraud or an obvious pricing error; in that case, any amount paid is refunded in full.

4. Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in euros (or in your local currency where available). Any applicable taxes and the shipping cost are shown at checkout, before you pay. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties and taxes may apply and are paid by the customer (see our Shipping Policy).

5. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna and local methods such as Bizum, Bancontact or BLIK). Payments are processed securely by certified providers; we never see or store your full card details.

6. Shipping

Delivery times, rates and destinations are described in our Shipping Policy. Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered to you or to the person you indicate.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason. Return shipping is paid by the customer. All details are in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

8. Legal guarantee

All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for consumers (3 years in Spain; at least 2 years elsewhere in the EU). If a product is faulty, contact us at info@hoperadesign.com.

9. Intellectual property

HOPERA DESIGN® is a registered trademark. The brand, logo, product designs, graphic adaptations, photos and texts on this site belong to HOPERA DESIGN® and may not be copied or used without our written permission. The original artworks we reinterpret are in the public domain.

10. Liability

We are responsible for the products we sell in accordance with the law. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (such as strikes, extreme weather or carrier disruptions), but we'll always help you find a solution.

11. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details safe. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

12. Disputes and applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you have a problem, write to us first at info@hoperadesign.com: we'll do our best to solve it quickly. As a consumer, you can also contact your local consumer protection office or go to the courts of your place of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the date you placed it.
